Kataja Basket is internationally well-known and very successful basketball team in the Finnish top league ”Korisliiga”.<br> <br> The basketball section of the club ”Joensuun Kataja” was founded in 1949 (”Joensuun Kataja” was founded in 1900).<br> <br> Kataja Community works together with local companies, sponsors, supporters, volunteers and fans to build feelings they can not have elsewhere. Our aim is to make the Joensuu area more and more international through our actions.
